2 c flour
23 c sugar
2 tsp baking powder
14 c melted margarine
1 egg
milk
sliced sweetened peaches use fresh or frozen peaches

Directions

Sift first 3 ingredients
In a measuring cup put melted margarine and egg then finish filling to 1 cup with milk
Add to flour mixture and beat well
Put into greased and floured 9-inch cake pan
Bake at 350 for 20 to 25 minutes
Cool
Split in half and put peaches between and on top of shortcake
Serve with ice cream or Cool Whip
Makes a beautiful dish and it is delicious
