Aunt IreneS Cookies

Ingredients

• 2 c brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 12 c sour milk
• 1 c shortening
• 3 12 c flour
• 1 tsp soda
• 1 tsp baking powder
• 12 tsp salt
• 2 tsp cinnamon
• 1 tsp nutmeg
• 12 tsp cloves
• 1 c raisins
• 1 c dates
• 1 tsp vanilla

Directions

1. Cream shortening and sugar
2. Add well beaten eggs and vanilla Sift dry ingredients together and add to creamed mixture alternating with sour milk
3. Add raisins and dates
4. Drop by teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet
5. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes
