Aunt RachelS Custard Pie

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 12 to 1 c sugar or to taste
  • 14 c flour
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 c buttermilk at room temperature
  • 1 c sweet milk at room temperature
  • 14 c melted butter or margarine
  • 2 deep or 3 shallow pie shells

Directions

  1. Beat eggs slightly
  2. Mix sugar and flour and add to eggs mix well
  3. Stir in lemon juice milk and butter and stir well
  4. Pour into unbaked pie shells
