Austria Viennese Noodles
Ingredients
- 1 lb pkg fine egg noodles
- 12 c diced onions
- 12 c diced green pepper
- 12 c diced celery
- 12 c butter
- 1 tsp salt
- 18 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp parsley flakes
- 1 c cultured sour cream
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 1 c bread crumbs
Directions
- Cook noodles in boiling salt water until done
- Drain well Saute onions green pepper and celery in 14 cup butter
- Add to noodles with salt pepper and parsley flakes stir well
- Blend in sour cream and lemon juice
- Place in buttered casserole top with crumbs blended with remaining butter
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
- Makes 8 servings
