Austria Viennese Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pkg fine egg noodles
  • 12 c diced onions
  • 12 c diced green pepper
  • 12 c diced celery
  • 12 c butter
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp parsley flakes
  • 1 c cultured sour cream
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • 1 c bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Cook noodles in boiling salt water until done
  2. Drain well Saute onions green pepper and celery in 14 cup butter
  3. Add to noodles with salt pepper and parsley flakes stir well
  4. Blend in sour cream and lemon juice
  5. Place in buttered casserole top with crumbs blended with remaining butter
  6. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes
  7. Makes 8 servings
