Autumn Skillet Dinner
Ingredients
- 4 thick pork chops
- 1 medium red onion sliced thin or chopped
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 5 c shredded red cabbage
- 1 12 c cored chopped apple
- 12 c apple juice or cider
- 3 Tbsp wine vinegar
- 1 bay leaf
- black pepper
Directions
- Trim fat from chops then brown both sides
- Remove from skillet
- Add onions and garlic cooking until tender
- Add cabbage apple apple juice vinegar bay leaf and pepper
- Toss well
- Add the browned chops arranging over the top
- Cover skillet and cook 20 to 30 minutes on low heat
