Baby Carrots With Walnut Glaze

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh baby carrots
  • 2 Tbsp water
  • 1 12 Tbsp butter or margarine
  • 1 12 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 14 tsp cinnamon
  • 18 tsp cloves
  • 18 tsp salt
  • 14 c walnut halves

Directions

  1. Place carrots in 1-quart microwave-safe casserole dish
  2. Cover with 2 tablespoons water
  3. Microwave on High for 6 to 8 minutes Stir once after 4 minutes
  4. Drain excess water and let stand uncovered while glaze is prepared
