Bacon-Potato Chowder

Ingredients

  • 8 slices bacon cut up
  • 1 c chopped onion
  • 4 c hash brown potatoes
  • 1 c water
  • 1 can cream of chicken soup
  • 1 c sour cream
  • 1 34 c milk
  • 12 tsp salt
  • pepper to taste
  • 2 Tbsp chopped parsley

Directions

  1. Fry bacon saute onion and drain
  2. Add potatoes and water cook until tender
  3. Stir in remaining ingredients heat thoroughly
  4. Do not boil
  5. Add more milk if chowder becomes too thick
  6. Makes 6 to 8 servings
