Bacon-Wrapped Mushroom Caps
Ingredients
- 15 strips of bacon
- 30 small to medium mushrooms stems removed
- 1 cup sharp spreadable cheddar cheese
- 2 Tbsp minced onion
- 2 Tbsp bread crumbs
Directions
- Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each strip around the perimeter of each mushroom cap to create a small cuff
- Fasten the back with a toothpick
- Broil mushrooms 5 minutes or until the back becomes slightly crisp drain
- Mix the cheese with onion and bread crumbs
- Place a small mound of mixture inside each mushroom cap within the bacon cuff
- Broil 3 minutes Serve hot
