Bacon-Wrapped Mushroom Caps

Ingredients

  • 15 strips of bacon
  • 30 small to medium mushrooms stems removed
  • 1 cup sharp spreadable cheddar cheese
  • 2 Tbsp minced onion
  • 2 Tbsp bread crumbs

Directions

  1. Cut the bacon strips in half and wrap each strip around the perimeter of each mushroom cap to create a small cuff
  2. Fasten the back with a toothpick
  3. Broil mushrooms 5 minutes or until the back becomes slightly crisp drain
  4. Mix the cheese with onion and bread crumbs
  5. Place a small mound of mixture inside each mushroom cap within the bacon cuff
  6. Broil 3 minutes Serve hot
