Bacon And Cheese Quiche
Ingredients
- 8 slices thick sourdough bread take off crust
- 8 oz Cheddar cheese grated
- 12 slices bacon cooked and crumbled in large pieces
- 8 to 10 eggs
- 2 12 c milk
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 Tbsp parsley flakes
- 12 tsp dry mustard
- 14 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- freshly ground pepper to taste
- 13 c melted butter or margarine
Directions
- Arrange half of the bread in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan
- Then layer on the bacon half of the cheese the rest of the bread then the rest of the cheese
- Beat together with a wire whisk eggs milk and seasonings
- Pour over bread then drizzle melted butter over the top
- Cover and refrigerate overnight
- Bake at 350 for 50 to 60 minutes
- Cut into serving size pieces and serve with tossed green salad
