Baked Beans With Green Pepper And Carrots
Ingredients
- 5 c cooked navy beans
- 34 c light brown sugar
- 2 medium size onions chopped
- 2 medium size green peppers chopped
- 3 grated carrots
- 1 12 c tomato catsup
- 12 c bacon drippings
- salt to taste
Directions
- Wash beans cover with water and cook until soft
- Drain not too dry
- Add salt and bacon drippings
- Mix in baking dish the beans brown sugar onions green pepper and grated carrots
- Add catsup
- Bake in 325 oven for one hour or until as dry as desired
