Baked Country Ham
Ingredients
- 1 country ham
- 2 qt water
- 1 c molasses optional
Directions
- Soak ham for 24 hours in cold water
- Take out of water and place in roaster pan
- Mix 2 quarts of water and 1 cup of molasses together and pour over ham
- Place 2 layers of heavy duty aluminum foil over ham and place lid on roaster
- Preheat oven to 500 Put ham in oven and time for 30 minutes
- Turn oven off after 30 minutes and wait 3 hours and turn oven back on and let it reach 500 again and time for 30 minutes
- Then turn oven off and leave ham in overnight 200 PM is a good time to start this recipe
- Do not open oven after you start
