Baked French Toast
Ingredients
- 10 slices whole wheat bread
- 1 12 c 12 oz can evaporated skim milk
- 2 whole eggs plus 4 egg whites or 1 c liquid egg substitute
- 13 c dark brown sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 12 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions
- Lightly coat 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan with nonstick vegetable spray Arrange bread slices in bottom of pan
- Combine all remaining ingredients and mix well using a whisk or eggbeater
- Pour mixture over bread
- Cover tightly with plastic wrap and refrigerate several hours or overnight
