Baked Ham

Ingredients

  • 4 c flour
  • 1 c brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp ground cloves
  • 2 Tbsp powdered cinnamon
  • 2 Tbsp dried mustard
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • peach pickle juice or apple cider

Directions

  1. Cut rind off ham
  2. Combine dry ingredients and add enough juice to make a dough that can be rolled over fat
  3. Cover part of ham with dough
  4. Put in cold oven
  5. Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes per pound 4 or 5 hours for a 15 pound ham basting every 30 minutes
  6. Take dough off and finish with brown sugar or any favorite way of browning ham
