Baked Ham
Ingredients
- 4 c flour
- 1 c brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp ground cloves
- 2 Tbsp powdered cinnamon
- 2 Tbsp dried mustard
- 1 tsp black pepper
- peach pickle juice or apple cider
Directions
- Cut rind off ham
- Combine dry ingredients and add enough juice to make a dough that can be rolled over fat
- Cover part of ham with dough
- Put in cold oven
- Bake at 325 for 20 to 25 minutes per pound 4 or 5 hours for a 15 pound ham basting every 30 minutes
- Take dough off and finish with brown sugar or any favorite way of browning ham
