Baked Limas
Ingredients
- 1 40 oz can lima beans
- 1 15 oz can lima beans
- 8 oz tomato sauce
- 3 Tbsp mustard
- 1 heaping Tbsp brown sugar
- 12 lb bacon cut into thirds
- 1 c catsup
- 1 rounded tsp ginger
- dash of salt
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except beans and bacon mixing well until sugar is dissolved
- Gently stir in beans with juice and place in oblong baking dish
- Layer bacon across top
- Bake at 300 for 45 minutes
- Remove from oven turn bacon slices and spoon off grease
- Return to oven and bake 45 minutes longer
