4 medium baking potatoes pared or 2 pkg frozen French fries omit butter
3 Tbsp butter or margarine
salt and pepper
12 c grated sharp processed cheese
2 Tbsp chopped parsley
12 c light or heavy cream
Directions
Cut a 24-inch length of heavy-duty aluminum foil Cut potatoes in thin lengthwise strips as for French fries and place just off center on foil Dot with butter Sprinkle with salt pepper cheese and parsley
Pull edges of foil upward then pour cream over the potatoes
Fold foil
Place on shallow pan and bake in very hot oven at 450 about 45 minutes to 1 hour or until done Fold back edges of foil and sprinkle potatoes with extra chopped parsley if desired
