Baked Sliced Potatoes

Ingredients

  • 4 large potatoes
  • 14 c butter melted
  • 14 c salad oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced or pressed
  • 12 to 1 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp dried thyme leaves

Directions

  1. Cut prepared potatoes into 14 inch slices
  2. Place overlapping slices in oven-to-table 13 x 9-inch pan
  3. Mix butter and oil Brush slices with mixture
  4. Pour remaining over potatoes Sprinkle with garlic salt and thyme
  5. Bake at 400 for 25 to 30 minutes or until browned at edges
  6. Serve immediately
  7. Good served with broiled steaks or hamburgers tossed green salad and crusty bread
