Baked Small Wild Game In Sour Cream

Ingredients

  • 2 lb wild game meat
  • flour
  • salt and pepper
  • 5 Tbsp margarine
  • mustard
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 1 carrot sliced
  • 12 c sliced mushrooms
  • 3 Tbsp chopped parsley
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 12 c sour cream

Directions

  1. Soak the meat overnight in salted water
  2. Dry and roll in flour
  3. Saute in margarine until browned
  4. Remove the meat and spread with mustard on all sides
  5. Saute onion carrots and mushrooms
  6. Add salt and pepper to taste add the garlic powder and then stir in the sour cream over low heat
  7. Pour the resulting sauce over the meat and bake at 350 about 1 hour or until the meat is tender
