Baked Squash Casserole
Ingredients
- 1 lb squash cooked in water drained and mashed
- 12 c cracker crumbs
- 14 c green pepper
- 12 stick oleo melted
- 2 c grated cheese
- 12 c celery
- 1 medium onion finely chopped
- 1 beaten egg
- pinch of sugar salt and pepper
Directions
- Cook onion celery
- and
- pepper
- in water until tender Drain Mix all ingredients with squash and bake at 400 until firm and slightly
- brown
- Put
- cheese
- evenly
- across
- top of squash and cover casserole
- with
- lid to melt cheese
- Do not return to oven
