Baked Squash From Black-Eyed Pea Restaurant

Ingredients

  • 5 lb yellow squash
  • 1 c bread crumbs
  • 4 oz butter
  • 14 c sugar
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 Tbsp chopped onion
  • 2 eggs
  • dash of pepper

Directions

  1. Cut off tips of squash and cut in pieces
  2. Boil until tender Drain and mash
  3. Add eggs bread crumbs and butter
  4. Then add sugar salt onion and pepper
  5. Bake in greased casserole at 350 until top is lightly browned about 45 minutes
  6. Makes 10 servings
