Baked Stew

Ingredients
- 2 lb lean stew
- 2 c onions diced
- 2 c potatoes quartered
- 2 c carrots cut in chunks
- 2 c celery cut large
- 1 4 oz can mushrooms
- 2 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 5 Tbsp tapioca
- 1 tsp sugar
- 3 c V-8 juice
Directions
- Place in Dutch oven with tight fitting lid in the order listed
- Bake at 250 for 5 hours
- No browning necessary
- When done gravy is brown and thick
