Baked Yams

Ingredients

  • 1 20 oz can pineapple slices
  • 2 17 oz cans yams
  • 14 c flour
  • 3 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 12 tsp cinnamon
  • 18 tsp salt
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 14 c chopped nuts
  • 1 c miniature marshmallows

Directions

  1. Drain pineapple reserving 14 cup syrup
  2. Line sides of an 8 x 10-inch baking dish with pineapple slightly overlapping Arrange yams in center
  3. Pour pineapple syrup over yams
  4. Combine flour brown sugar cinnamon and salt
  5. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs
  6. Stir in nuts Sprinkle over yams
  7. Top with marshmallows
  8. Bake at 350 for 25 minutes
