Baked Ziti

Ingredients
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 28 oz can tomatoes with liquid cut up
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 1 tsp dried basil
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 8 oz ziti cooked and drained
- 2 c 8 oz shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
Directions
- In a large skillet saute onion and garlic in oil until tender
- Add tomatoes oregano basil salt and pepper
- Cover simmer for 20 minutes
- Place ziti in an ungreased 11 x 7 x 2-inch baking dish
- Cover with sauce
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes
- Sprinkle with both cheeses
- Bake 10 minutes longer or until cheese melts
- Yields 6 to 8 servings
