Ingredients

• 1 c plus 1 Tbsp butter
• 4 c flour
• 4 egg yolks
• 8 heaping Tbsp sugar
• rind and juice of 1 lemon

Directions

1. Combine butter and flour traditional way is to use fingers Add beaten egg yolks sugar and lemon
2. Roll out on floured board to 14-inch thickness
3. Brush with egg white and sprinkle on colored sugars or other decorations
4. Bake for 30 minutes in 350 oven
