Ingredients
- 1 c plus 1 Tbsp butter
- 4 c flour
- 4 egg yolks
- 8 heaping Tbsp sugar
- rind and juice of 1 lemon
Directions
- Combine butter and flour traditional way is to use fingers Add beaten egg yolks sugar and lemon
- Roll out on floured board to 14-inch thickness
- Brush with egg white and sprinkle on colored sugars or other decorations
- Bake for 30 minutes in 350 oven
