3 very ripe large bananas or 4 very ripe small bananas
2 13 c old fashioned oatmeal
2 14 c all-purpose presifted flour
12 tsp salt
12 tsp baking soda
14 tsp cinnamon
14 tsp nutmeg
12 c chopped pecans optional
Directions
Cream sugar and shortening with mixer Add egg Cream again Mash bananas and add Cream Mix slowly while adding oatmeal Combine flour salt soda cinnamon and nutmeg Fold into creamed ingredients Add pecans Spoon onto greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 for 12 to 14 minutes or until golden brown Cool completely Store in tight container to keep moist
