Banana Squares

Ingredients

• 6 Tbsp butter softened
• 1 c packed brown sugar
• 1 egg
• 12 tsp vanilla
• 1 large banana mashed
• 1 34 c flour
• 1 12 tsp baking powder
• 12 tsp salt
• 1 6 oz pkg butterscotch flavored chips

Directions

1. In large bowl of an electric mixer beat butter and sugar until creamy beat in egg vanilla and banana
2. In another bowl stir together flour baking powder and salt gradually add to butter mixture blending thoroughly
3. Stir in butterscotch chips Spread batter evenly in a greased 9-inch square baking pan
4. Bake in a 350 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown
5. Let cool in pan on a rack then cut into 16 squares
6. Store in refrigerator
