Barbecued Pot Roast
Ingredients
- 4-5 lb Beef Pot Roast
- 2 tsp Salt
- 14 tsp Pepper
- 2 tbsp Margarine
- 12 C Water
- 1 C Tomato Juice Soup or Sauce will also do
- 3 medium Onions chopped
- 3 cloves Garlic chopped
- 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 12 tsp Dry Mustard
- 14 C Lemon Juice
- 14 C Vinegar
- 14 C Catsup
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
Directions
- Rub roast surface with salt and pepper Brown in butter on all sides Add water tomato juice onion and garlic
- Simmer meat 1 12 hours Mix remaining ingredients and add to meat Cook for 2 hours more Add potatoes and carrots the last 2 hours
