Barbecued Spareribs
Ingredients
- 3 lb spareribs
- 14 c 12 stick margarine
- 12 c chopped onion
- 1 clove garlic minced
- 2 8 oz cans tomato sauce
- 12 c water
- 14 c Worcestershire sauce
- 2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 2 Tbsp white vinegar
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 2 tsp salt
- 4 dashes hot sauce
Directions
- Place spareribs in shallow baking pan
- Roast uncovered in a moderate oven at 350 for 1 12 hours
- Pour off fat
- Melt margarine in a pan
- Add onion and garlic cook until tender
- Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil
- Set aside until ready to use
- Pour over spareribs
- Continue roasting basting occasionally about 12 hour or until spareribs are tender
