Barbecued Steak
Ingredients
- 1 c catsup
- 12 c water
- 2 Tbsp vinegar
- 14 chopped green pepper
- 14 c chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 14 tsp dry mustard
- 1 Tbsp brown sugar
- 12 tsp salt
- 18 tsp pepper
- 4 lb round steak cut into 12-inch strips
Directions
- Combine all ingredients except round steak in a saucepan bring to a boil
- Simmer gently for 5 minutes
- Pound steak break tissues
- Cut into serving pieces
- Put in a large pan
- Pour barbecued sauce over meat
- Cover tightly and bake at 325 for 2 hours or until fork-tender
