Basic Cookie MixAbout 16 Cups

Ingredients

• 8 c flour
• 2 12 c sugar
• 2 c brown sugar firmly packed
• 4 tsp salt
• 1 12 tsp baking soda
• 3 c vegetable shortening

Directions

1. In a large bowl combine flour granulated sugar brown sugar salt and baking soda until well blended
2. With a pastry blender cut in shortening until evenly distributed
3. Put in a large airtight container
4. Label
5. Store in a cool dry place
6. Use within 10 to 12 weeks
7. Makes about 16 cups of Basic Cookie Mix
