Basic Macaroni And Cheese - Low-Fat
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp Butter Buds
- 1 12 Tbsp flour
- 12 tsp salt
- 12 tsp pepper
- 2 c skim milk
- 1 Tbsp liquid Butter Buds
- 2 c elbow macaroni cooked
- 1 Tbsp grated onion
- 2 c grated nonfat Cheddar cheese
- 12 c crushed Pepperidge Farm seasoned cubed style stuffing
Directions
- Prepare white sauce while combining Butter Buds flour salt and pepper and slowly add skim milk
- Stir with wire whisk until smooth and thickened
- Set aside
- Place 12 cooked macaroni in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonfat cooking spray
- Sprinkle with 12 onion salt pepper and cheese
- Repeat
- Pour sauce over casserole
- Drizzle liquid Butter Buds over top
- Sprinkle remaining cheese over top Sprinkle stuffing over top
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350
- Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer
