Basic Macaroni And Cheese - Low-Fat

Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp Butter Buds
  • 1 12 Tbsp flour
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp pepper
  • 2 c skim milk
  • 1 Tbsp liquid Butter Buds
  • 2 c elbow macaroni cooked
  • 1 Tbsp grated onion
  • 2 c grated nonfat Cheddar cheese
  • 12 c crushed Pepperidge Farm seasoned cubed style stuffing

Directions

  1. Prepare white sauce while combining Butter Buds flour salt and pepper and slowly add skim milk
  2. Stir with wire whisk until smooth and thickened
  3. Set aside
  4. Place 12 cooked macaroni in the bottom of a 2-quart casserole dish that has been sprayed with nonfat cooking spray
  5. Sprinkle with 12 onion salt pepper and cheese
  6. Repeat
  7. Pour sauce over casserole
  8. Drizzle liquid Butter Buds over top
  9. Sprinkle remaining cheese over top Sprinkle stuffing over top
  10. Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350
  11. Uncover and bake 10 minutes longer
