Basic Pesto Sauce

Ingredients

• 2 c lightly packed fresh basil leaves
• 12 c olive oil
• 13 c pine nuts
• 1 large or 2 small garlic cloves
• 2 Tbsp lemon juice
• 1 c freshly grated Parmesan cheese

Directions

1. Combine first 5 ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth
2. At this point before adding cheese mixture can be frozen in airtight container and kept for several months
