Basil Tomato Tart
Ingredients
- 12 15 oz pkg folded refrigerated unbaked pie crust 1 crust
- 1 12 c shredded Mozzarella cheese 6 oz
- 5 Roma or 4 medium tomatoes
- 1 c loosely packed fresh basil leaves
- 4 cloves garlic
- 12 c mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 14 c grated Parmesan cheese
- 18 tsp ground white pepper
- fresh basil leaf optional
Directions
- Unfold pie crust according to package directions
- Place in a 9-inch quiche dish or glass pie plate
- Flute edge press with the tines of a fork if desired
- Prebake according to package directions
- Remove from oven
- Sprinkle with 12 cup of the Mozzarella cheese
- Cool on a wire rack
