Batter Bread Recipe
Ingredients
- 6 12 c sifted flour
- 2 Tbsp sugar
- 2 tsp salt
- 2 pkg active dry yeast
- 2 Tbsp softened butter
- 2 c very warm water 120 to 130
- 3 eggs
Directions
- Mix together 1 12 cups flour sugar salt and yeast in a large bowl
- Add butter
- Gradually add water to dry ingredients beat for 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer
- Add eggs and 12 cup flour beat 2 minutes at high speed
- Stir enough remaining flour in to make soft dough
- Cover let rise until doubled about 35 minutes
- Stir down
- Turn into 2 well-greased 1 12-quart casseroles
