Batter Rolls
Ingredients
- 34 c milk
- 14 c sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 14 c 12 stick oleo
- 12 c warm water
- 2 pkg yeast
- 1 egg
- 3 12 c unsifted flour about
Directions
- Scald milk stir
- in
- sugar
- salt
- and
- oleoCool to lukewarm Measure warm
- water into large bowl
- Crumble yeast stir until dissolved
- Add lukewarm milk mixture egg beaten and 2 cups flour
- Beat until smooth stir in enough remaining flour to make a soft
- dough
- Cover and let rise in warm place until double in bulk
- about 30 minutesPunch down and shape into 2 dozen rolls

- Letrise in warm place until doubled in bulk about 30 minutes
