Bean And Rib Soup
Ingredients
- 1 13 c dried pinto beans
- 3 lb pork ribs cut up
- 14 c vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic minced
- 1 c chopped onion
- 2 14 12 oz cans beef broth undiluted
- 4 c water
- 2 tsp chili powder
- 1 tsp ground cumin
- 12 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp crushed oregano
- 12 tsp salt
- 4 c thinly sliced carrots
- 1 8 oz can whole kernel corn drained
Directions
- Sort
- and
- wash
- beans
- place
- in
- a large Dutch oven Cast-iron if
- you
- have one Fill with water 2 inches above beans and
- bring to a boil cook 2 minutes
- Remove from heat Cover and let soak 1 hour drain and remove
