BeckyS Biscuits
Ingredients
- 1 pkg yeast
- 14 c warm water
- 2 12 c flour
- 12 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 18 c sugar
- 1 c buttermilk
- 12 c shortening
Directions
- Dissolve yeast
- Mix dry ingredients
- Cut in shortening Stir in yeast mixture and buttermilk
- Blend thoroughly and refrigerate or roll into biscuits
- Let rise slightly bake at 400 for 12 to 15 minutes or until golden brown
- Dough will keep up to 3 days in fridge
- Makes 8 fat biscuits
