Beef-Rice Creole
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 Tbsp flour
- 2 tsp salt
- 12 medium green pepper chopped
- 2 tsp snipped parsley
- 14 tsp pepper
- 1 12 c water
- 1 8 oz can whole tomatoes
- 1 12 c uncooked instant rice
Directions
- Cook and stir ground beef in 10-inch skillet until light brown drain
- Sprinkle beef with flour and salt
- Stir in green pepper onion and parsley cook and stir over low heat until onion is tender about 5 minutes
- Stir water and tomatoes with liquid into beef mixture
- Break up tomatoes with fork
- Heat to boiling Reduce heat cover and let stand 5 minutes
- Yields 4 servings
