Beef And Potato Pie
Ingredients
- 1 large onion
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 12 Tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 tsp thyme
- salt and pepper
- 16 oz whole tomatoes
- 3 Tbsp bread crumbs
- 1 tsp dried marjoram
- 1 12 lb potatoes
- 1 Tbsp chopped parsley
- 1 Tbsp oil
Directions
- Heat oven to 450
- Oil a 2-quart casserole
- Chop onion and garlic
- Cook in oil the onion then garlic for 1 minute Crumble beef in pan
- Add salt pepper thyme and marjoram cook until browned
- Peel and thinly slice potatoes
- Drain and chop tomatoes
- Add tomatoes and bread crumbs to beef
- Arrange 12 potatoes on bottom of pan overlapping halfway up sides
- Pack beef into pan
- Cover with remaining potatoes
- Bake until browned for 30 to 35 minutes
- Serves 4
