Beef And Rice Espagnole

Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef or pork
  • 12 c chopped onion
  • 1 15 oz can tomato sauce
  • 12 c quick cooking rice
  • 12 c water
  • 14 c sliced olives
  • 1 4 oz can green chili peppers chopped
  • 12 tsp garlic salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • few drops hot pepper sauce
  • 1 c American cheese cut into 12 inch cubes

Directions

  1. In skillet cook meat and onions until meat is browned
  2. Drain off fat
  3. Stir in tomato sauce uncooked rice water olives chili peppers garlic salt pepper and hot pepper
  4. Bring to boil
  5. Turn into a 1 12-quart casserole dish
  6. Cover and bake at 350 for 35 to 40 minutes or until rice is tender
  7. Add cheese cubes stirring just until cheese is distributed
  8. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
