Beef Bean And Cornbread Casserole
Ingredients
- 34 lb 93 ultra-lean ground beef
- 1 c chopped onion
- 1 garlic clove minced
- vegetable cooking spray
- 1 Tbsp chili powder
- 1 12 tsp ground cumin
- 1 tsp sugar
- 12 tsp dried oregano
- 2 8 oz cans no salt added tomato sauce
- 1 16 oz can pinto beans drained
- 1 45 oz can chopped green chiles drained
- 34 c skim milk
- 1 egg lightly beaten
- 1 13 c self-rising yellow cornmeal mix
Directions
- Cook beef onion and garlic in a large saucepan coated with cooking spray over medium-high heat until browned stirring frequently to crumble the beef
- Drain the beef mixture in a colander
