Beef Bourdelais

Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp margarine
- 3 lb sirloin tip cut for stew
- 1 onion diced
- 3 Tbsp flour
- 14 tsp thyme
- 14 tsp pepper
- 10 oz beef bouillon or broth
- 10 oz red wine
Directions
- Braise beef in margarine
- Add onion
- Mix flour and seasonings and add to beef
- Pour in bouillon and wine and scrape pan well
- Cover tightly and bake at 325 for 4 hours
- Serve over egg noodles or rice pilaf
