Beef Brisket

Ingredients
- 1 boneless beef brisket 4 lb
- 2 tsp salt
- 12 tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 3 large onions sliced 12-inch thick
Directions
- Line a 13 x 10-inch pan with 1 large sheet of foil to cover meat completely later
- Put in brisket season beef and arrange onion slices on top
- Bake at 350 for 1 hour
- When onions brown slightly then cover seal beef tightly with foil
- Add 1 cup of water to pan may have to add more water
- Reduce heat to 300 Cook 2 more hours
- Keep sealed
- After 3 hours open and check If fork-tender its cooked long enough
- Make gravy from the juices
