Beef Brisket

Ingredients

  • 1 boneless beef brisket 4 lb
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 12 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 large onions sliced 12-inch thick

Directions

  1. Line a 13 x 10-inch pan with 1 large sheet of foil to cover meat completely later
  2. Put in brisket season beef and arrange onion slices on top
  3. Bake at 350 for 1 hour
  4. When onions brown slightly then cover seal beef tightly with foil
  5. Add 1 cup of water to pan may have to add more water
  6. Reduce heat to 300 Cook 2 more hours
  7. Keep sealed
  8. After 3 hours open and check If fork-tender its cooked long enough
  9. Make gravy from the juices
