Beef Cabbage Soup

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground beef
- 14 to 12 head cabbage chopped
- 12 c celery chopped
- 1 medium onion chopped
- 2 15 oz cans kidney beans
- 2 15 oz cans stewed tomatoes
- 2 tsp chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
Directions
- Brown ground beef in 1 tablespoon oil
- Add cabbage celery and onion in skillet
- Transfer to 5-quart stock pot
- Add remaining ingredients plus 1 cup water if needed
- Stir and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes
