Beef Goulash

Ingredients
- 1 Tbsp shortening
- 1 12 lb boneless chuck cut into cubes
- 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix
- 12 c canned tomato paste
- 2 c water
Directions
- In Dutch oven or heavy saucepan heat shortening and brown meat well
- Stir in Lipton onion soup mix tomato paste and water Simmer covered 1 12 hours or until meat is tender adding more water if needed
- Serve over noodles
