Beef Macaroni Italiano
Ingredients
- 34 c elbow macaroni
- 1 Tbsp margarine
- 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1 16 oz can stewed tomatoes cut up
- 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
- 12 envelope onion soup mix
- 12 tsp oregano
- 14 tsp salt
- dash of pepper
- 1 lb ground hamburger
- 12 c shredded Mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Cook macaroni and drain
- In saucepan melt butter blend in flour
- Stir in undrained tomatoes tomato sauce onion soup mix oregano salt and pepper
- Cook until bubbly
- Brown ground beef drain
- Stir in sauce
- Add macaroni
- Spoon mixture into a 1 12-quart casserole
- Top with cheese
- Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes
- Makes 5 to 6 servings
