Beef Macaroni Italiano

Ingredients

  • 34 c elbow macaroni
  • 1 Tbsp margarine
  • 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour
  • 1 16 oz can stewed tomatoes cut up
  • 1 8 oz can tomato sauce
  • 12 envelope onion soup mix
  • 12 tsp oregano
  • 14 tsp salt
  • dash of pepper
  • 1 lb ground hamburger
  • 12 c shredded Mozzarella cheese

Directions

  1. Cook macaroni and drain
  2. In saucepan melt butter blend in flour
  3. Stir in undrained tomatoes tomato sauce onion soup mix oregano salt and pepper
  4. Cook until bubbly
  5. Brown ground beef drain
  6. Stir in sauce
  7. Add macaroni
  8. Spoon mixture into a 1 12-quart casserole
  9. Top with cheese
  10. Bake uncovered at 350 for 20 minutes
  11. Makes 5 to 6 servings
