Beef Roll-Ups

Ingredients

  • 2 to 2 12 lb round steak 12-inch thick
  • 6 slices bacon cut in half
  • 14 c finely chopped onion
  • 14 c flour divided
  • 1 14 c water divided
  • 1 4 oz can mushroom pieces drained
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 12 tsp salt
  • 18 tsp pepper
  • 18 tsp garlic powder
  • 14 tsp Bouquet Sauce optional

Directions

  1. Cut round steak into 4 rectangles
  2. Pound to 14-inch thickness with the edge of a saucer or meat mallet
  3. May use cubed steak
  4. Place bacon on paper towels
  5. Cover with paper towel Microwave on High for 3 to 5 minutes or until partially cooked Place 3 bacon halves and 1 tablespoon onion on each piece of round steak
  6. Roll pieces and secure with wooden picks
  7. Dredge rolls in 2 tablespoons flour then place in an 8 x 8-inch baking dish Sprinkle with any flour remaining from dredging
