Beef Tips In Mushroom Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 12 lb tenderized boneless roast
  • 1 12 Tbsp cooking oil
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 12 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms drained save liquid
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 12 c dry sherry or red wine

Directions

  1. Brown meat in oil
  2. Slice the onions in rings and cook with the meat
  3. Combine soup sherry garlic salt and liquid from mushrooms
  4. Pour over beef and onions
  5. Pour in mushrooms
  6. Let boil and then simmer for at least one hour
