Beef With Red Wine Marinade

Ingredients

  • 1 1 12 lb top round steak or London broil
  • 14 c vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic juice
  • 1 c red wine
  • 14 c soy sauce
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp dried whole oregano

Directions

  1. Place steak in a shallow dish or zip top heavy-duty plastic bag
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in a small bowl Stir well Pour marinade over steak Cover or seal and chill 8 hours turning occasionally Remove steak from marinade
  3. Grill over medium 300 to 400 coals for 7 to 9 minutes on each side or to desired degree of doneness
  4. To serve slice grilled steak across the grain into thin slices
  5. Yields about 6 servings
