Beer Cheese Soup

Ingredients

• 12 c butter
• 1 c flour
• 4 c hot chicken broth
• 1 12 c milk
• 1 16 oz jar Cheez Whiz or cube 1 lb Velveeta
• 6 oz beer optional

Directions

1. Melt butter Add flour and blend well Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes Add hot chicken broth and milk
2. Mix well until smooth and thick Add cheese
3. Mix until all cheese melts and soup is smooth Add beer
4. Simmer 15 minutes
5. Serves 10
