Beer Cheese Soup

Ingredients

  • 12 cube margarine
  • 12 c 18-inch diced celery
  • 12 c flour
  • 2 12 pt chicken stock
  • 2 Tbsp grated Parmesan cheese
  • 14 tsp Accent
  • 12 c 18-inch diced carrots
  • 12 c 18-inch diced onions
  • 12 tsp dry mustard
  • 6 oz grated sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 can beer
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Saute vegetables in margarine until tender but not browned Blend in flour dry mustard and chicken broth
  2. Cook at least 5 minutes
  3. Blend in Cheddar cheese Parmesan cheese and beer
  4. Let simmer at least 10 minutes
  5. Season and serve with French bread and tossed salad
