Beer Cheese Soup
Ingredients
- 12 c butter
- 1 c flour
- 4 c hot chicken broth
- 1 12 c milk
- 1 16 oz jar Cheez Whiz or cube 1 lb Velveeta
- 6 oz beer optional
Directions
- Melt butter Add flour and blend well Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes Add hot chicken broth and milk
- Mix well until smooth and thick Add cheese
- Mix until all cheese melts and soup is smooth Add beer
- Simmer 15 minutes
- Serves 10
