Beet And Pear Salad

Ingredients
- 1 16 oz can pear halves
- 1 16 oz can sliced beets drained
- 12 c thinly sliced red onion
- 2 Tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 Tbsp white wine vinegar
- 13 c crumbled Blue cheese
Directions
- Drain pears reserving 1 tablespoon syrup
- Cut pears in half lengthwise
- Place pears beets and onion in medium bowl
- Whisk together oil vinegar and reserved syrup
- Pour over salad toss gently
- Just before serving add cheese and toss
- Serve on bed of lettuce leaves
- Makes 4 to 6 servings
